*The performance of processors marked with a star is estimated based on their specification, and the knowledge gained during the testing of previous-gen processors. These scores may change once we have tested phones based on these SOCs.
The processor acts as the brain of a smartphone. Almost everything we do on the smartphone more or less depends on it. Obviously then, the important task is to pick the best of what’s available.
The best one depends more on the configuration and OS with which it is made to work. However, investing in a high-end processor, means you end up buying an expensive flagship smartphone. You will definitely get the performance you’re paying for, but it is important to ask yourself if you really need it.
The amount of processing power you need depends on the tasks and applications you would run on your device. It is important to choose a smartphone with a processor that delivers just the right amount of power, while still fitting comfortably in your budget.
